Why we introduced WINBACK
We introduced WINBACK to expand the ways we can support you during treatment. It gives us another tool to complement massage, therapeutic touch and assisted movement.
Our approach remains personal. Your comfort, how your body responds and what you want from your session guide the treatment. WINBACK becomes part of that approach where appropriate.
What is WINBACK?
WINBACK delivers radiofrequency energy through electrodes applied to the body. This approach is called TECAR therapy.
Depending on the settings used, the energy can produce warmth within the tissues. Your therapist can combine its application with hands-on techniques, bringing technology and touch together within the same session.
What happens beneath the surface?
WINBACK uses radiofrequency energy that causes charged particles, called ions, within your tissues to move back and forth. Depending on the treatment settings, this produces warmth and can temporarily increase local circulation.
Combined with hands-on treatment, these effects may help ease muscular tension and make movement feel more comfortable.
What makes our approach different?
At Andreas Body Restoration, WINBACK is integrated into an individual treatment rather than delivered as a fixed routine.
Hands-on techniques, assisted stretching and technology are selected according to your needs on the day. The aim is a considered, comfortable experience that supports easier movement and a sense of restoration.
What can I expect?
Before your treatment
We discuss your concerns, relevant health history and what you would like to achieve. We check whether WINBACK is appropriate for you and explain how it may fit into your session.
During your session
You may notice a gentle warming sensation. The intensity is adjusted to your comfort; please tell your therapist immediately if anything feels too hot or uncomfortable.
Afterwards
You may notice less tension or greater ease of movement, although responses vary. We review how you feel and discuss whether further treatment would be useful. There is no fixed number of sessions suitable for everyone.
Is WINBACK suitable for everyone?
WINBACK is not appropriate for every person or situation. Please tell us about pregnancy, any implanted electronic device, current medical conditions and recent surgery before treatment. Suitability is assessed individually.
